"This course focuses on project and program design, monitoring and evaluation methods to better ensure outcomes that contribute to peace. Peacebuilding DM&E can refer to peacebuilding-specific projects and programs, or those in other sectors (e.g. security, rule of law, governance, social services) that aim to be “conflict and peace sensitive.” This course aims to ensure students: • Are familiar with leading methodologies designed for peacebuilding DM&E; • Can develop and employ conflict and peace sensitive analysis to shape project and program design; • Understand theories of change to contextualize and shape program design; • Are able to develop M&E methods, including appropriate indicators that support these approaches."
